Summary:
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
Radiography and Imaging: Capture and process diagnostic digital radiographs in compliance with state laws and institutional guidelines. Prepare and maintain operatory rooms, instruments, and materials in accordance with OSHA and CDC protocols. Demonstrate and reinforce proper clinical techniques and best practices to dental students. Adhere to HIPAA standards and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification.
- Valid Radiographic License as required by the State of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a dental school, teaching clinic, or academic healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., Axium, Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Certification in IV Sedation.

Starting Pay Rate Range: $20.38 – $24.12, commensurate with experience.
