Sadler Health Center is seeking an energetic, driven, experienced Dental Director.

The position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of dental processes, protocols, and procedures - and accountable for driving departmental efficiency.

This is a vital leadership role for Sadler Health. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in both operations management and has a passion for the delivery of quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:
• 7 years of experience as a practicing Dentist, some of this time preferably in a community health or public health environment serving both
adult and pediatric patients.
• Two (2) years in senior level/director position with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple locations.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effectively communicates orally and in writing in English.
• Ability to effectively and professionally represent the organization.
• Works independently and is self-directed.
• Ability to support, motivate and sustain a team-oriented culture and has the ability to relate and interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Articulates organizational vision and develops and implements organizational strategic initiatives relative to the dental program and dental
practice operations.
• Possesses excellent analytical skills.
• Possess excellent dental clinical skills.
• Exercises sound judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Evaluates and effectively addresses highly complex issues and problems.
• Appropriately delegates work, sets expectations and monitors activities of the dental team.
• Able to support the development and growth of both the department and members of the dental team.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and coordinates multiple activities and tasks.
• Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental School and completion of an accredited residency program.
• Holds a valid Dental License in good standing and is Board certified in Dentistry, and able to be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Currently holds a valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certification.
• Currently holds Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) or is able to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.
• Successful completion of Sadler’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and re-credentialing as appropriate.

Preferred Qualification:
• Electronic Health Record experience
• Bilingual language skills.
• Experience in a community health or public health clinic setting.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population which may include low income, multi-ethnic populations in a community health clinic
